People should have optimum use of its rich natural resources- Says J.J. Singh

Pasighat, July 9: Addressing the public after the inauguration of a new EAC Office building at Koyu on July 7 last, Governor, J.J. Singh asked the people to avail optimum use of its rich natural resources like potentiality and good prospect in tourism, agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and honey-bee making sectors could rise the economic prosperity and standard of living of people.

The governor hoped that the local people of the area would greatly be benefited by the newly established EAC post at Koyu and asked the employees serving in the office to be very punctual, sincere and hardworking for the greater interest of the people and to bring development fast in the area. The Governor also urged the unemployed youths to avail the government schemes based on bank-loan and run self-employment enterprises for their economic own economic progress.

In his speech, the local minister Tako Dabi (HM WRD) said that Singh was the first Governor of the state who visited Koyu and his name would be written in golden letter so that the people would have long memory in their hearts. The minister expressed the long felt need of the people was fulfillment on this auspicious occasion and he hoped that education was the only means to solve all other problems like be free from ignorance, hunger and poverty.  Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner Onit Panyang extended welcome address to the governor and all other dignitaries who accompanied the VVIP. All HODs, officers, PRI members and public leaders of the 36-Nari-Koyu were present at the auspicious function, reports DIPRO
